How to create an Invoice In Google Docs
Creating an invoice in Google Docs is pretty easy. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to your Google Docs account and create a new document
Step 2: As a first step, we will create the invoice header. This process can be done in several steps.
Insert a table to hold the header information
Step 3: Now enter the invoice header invoice in your table as follows
This is the information that is going to be displayed on our invoice header. To make the invoice header look more professional, we are going to change the font and color.
Step 4: Change the font and background of the text you selected
Change font-size and font-family
Change background
Now let's customize the table. We're going to remove the table borders.
To remove the table borders, go to table properties and select "0pt" for the table border.
Now we are done with our header. In the next step, we are going to create our “Line items" section.
Step 3: Create Line items. To do this, add the "Line Items" table.
Step 4: Add the “Line items” section details
That’s great. We now need to add the "Totals Table."
Step 5: Make a small table that shows the totals for each customer. This table should show how much each customer must pay.
Conclusion
Now we have created our invoice manually. You can choose to save it as a template that you will duplicate in Google Docs and send to your customers
