What are the duties of chief minister in Indian constitution?

    The elected head of the govt of the states in India is named because the Chief Minister of that specific state or union territory. The governor appoints the Chief Minister following elections to the state legislature . The party  will elect their leader who got bulk of votes, the candidate for Chief Minister, who is invited by the governor to inaugurate as Chief Minister of State. The Chief Minister's term lasts for typically for five years, or until next General Elections. However, there is no limit for the number of terms he can serve.

    The candidate must be a minimum of 25 years aged , a citizen of India, and will be a member of the state legislature will  be eligible for the post of Chief Minister.  He is elected by the bulk within the state assembly

    He is the leader of the legislative assembly. The decision of the Chief Minister is final. He is only responsible to the Legislative Assembly for the acts performed by the State Council of Ministers. He will be in  rescue of a minister if he faces any difficulty during the debates in the Assembly. He has to dare to getting the important bills passed. He has to keep good relations with the people and see that efforts are made to improve the condition of the state.

    The Chief Adviser to the Governor:  Chief Minister advise governor,  so that he can perform his functions. The Chief Minister acts as a bridge between the Governor and the Council of Ministers to their communication . The Governor performs his tasks in matters up on CM advise.

    The Leader of the Council of Ministers: The constitution gives supremacy to the Chief Minister by making him the leader of the ministers, thus it is his responsibility to maintain unity among the ministers. He monitors the working of all the ministers and oversees the meetings of the Council of Ministers.
